If you've been attending the bazaars I frequent you would have noticed that I've been selling these feathered hairclips. But why haven't I placed them on the blogshop? Well, at first I just made these for fun with no intention to actually start really selling them. But then they were selling out fast, so much so that I never got the chance to snap any photos of them! So I decided it's time that I offer it to you good folks of the world wide web. And I finally took a photo!
I made this feather hairclip (it's not a headband folks!) from scratch, laying the feathers down one by one on a handcut felt base then finally topping it off with a vintage lace camellia (an ode to the late Coco Chanel perhaps?). I made it a clip instead of a headband so that you'll have the option of placing it exactly where you'd like to - on the side, behind or even pin it on your clothes for a little dash of whimsy!
Materials: Imported feathers - Duck feather in dark purple & Guinea feather in light pink, vintage lace camelia, black felt base & black hairclip
